A regulation pickleball court uses these measurements:
- 20 feet wide by 44 feet long (including lines)
- 7-foot non-volley zone (the "kitchen") on each side of the net
- 2-inch lines
- Recommended total playing area about 30 by 60 feet
Surface considerations
Asphalt should be fairly smooth and drain well. Cracks and puddles affect play, so patching may come first.

Up to four pickleball courts can fit on one tennis court footprint, or lines can be overlaid in a contrasting color for shared use.
