How many accessible spaces do we need?
Generally one per 25 spaces for the first 100, then fewer per block, with at least one van-accessible stall per six accessible stalls. We size it to your lot.
What size is a van-accessible space?
An 8-foot stall with an 8-foot access aisle, or an 11-foot stall with a 5-foot aisle, both marked and signed.
Do access aisles have to be hatched?
They must be marked so they read as no-parking. Diagonal hatching is the standard way we do it.
Is a sign required at each stall?
Yes — each accessible stall needs a sign mounted so it stays visible with a vehicle parked in the space.
Can you fix a lot that failed inspection?
That's a large share of our work. Send us the notice and we'll correct exactly what was cited.
