How often should a lot be re-striped?
Most Greater Boston lots need paint every 18–24 months. Heavy-traffic retail and plow-heavy lots often need it yearly.
Can you stripe over old faded lines?
Yes, as long as the old lines are still visible enough to follow. If they're gone, we lay out fresh.
Will old lines show through?
We black out abandoned lines with matching asphalt-tone paint so only the new layout reads.
Do we need a permit?
Private lots rarely do. Layout changes that alter curb cuts or accessible counts can require town sign-off — we tell you when.
